This is probably more sad than funny, but still. A Minnesota man got tasered by the police for resisting arrest. The only problem is that he wasn’t “resisting arrest” as much as he was “patiently resting his hands on the hood of the cop car, politely awaiting the police officer’s return.” I could see how you’d get those two things confused.
